Conduit Outlet Body for 3/4in Threaded IMC

This iron conduit outlet body accepts 3/4in threaded IMC and provides a 90-degree connection for indoor or outdoor runs. The GU-style L body includes a cover and offers 19 cu in of internal capacity for pulling conductors through bends. Triple-coat epoxy finish protects the gray iron housing from corrosion in exposed locations.

19 cu in Capacity Handles Standard Pulls

The 19 cubic-inch cavity accommodates typical conductor counts for 3/4in trade-size conduit without overcrowding. Installers gain enough room to navigate 90-degree turns while staying within fill limits for common residential and light-commercial circuits. Larger conductor bundles or additional splices would exceed the available volume.

Triple-Coat Epoxy Resists Weather and Corrosion

The iron housing carries a triple-coat epoxy finish rated for indoor and outdoor exposure without additional sealing. Threaded hubs engage securely with 3/4in IMC, eliminating loose connections that can trap moisture. No moving parts or gaskets mean maintenance-free operation over the service life of the raceway.

Questions about this item

Will the 3/4 inch threaded hubs on this GUL75 body connect directly to my existing 3/4 inch threaded IMC conduit runs?

Yes, the trade size is 3/4 inch and the connection type is threaded, matching 3/4 inch threaded IMC conduit for a direct fit.

How can I verify the 90 degree bend orientation is correct once the body is mounted?

After installation, the hubs should form a right angle turn; the round back and L body style confirm the 90 degree connection orientation.

Does the purchase include the cover for the 19 cu in body, or must I order a separate cover?

The cover is included with the conduit outlet body, so no separate cover purchase is required.
