Reduces conduit thread size from 1 in to 3/4 in for IMC and threaded RMC in hazardous locations
The Appleton Electric RB100-75 is a threaded reducing bushing designed for use in hazardous environments. It connects conduit of different trade sizes within Class I, Division 1 and 2 areas. The fitting is rated for Groups A, B, C, D and Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, G. It suits industrial electrical installations requiring certified hazardous-location components.
This bushing provides a female 3/4 in NPT thread on one end and a male 1 in NPT thread on the other. It is specifically compatible with IMC and threaded rigid metal conduit of those trade sizes. The steel body features an electroplated finish for corrosion resistance. The overall length measures 3/4 in.
Weighing 0.08 lb, the bushing adds minimal mass to a conduit run while enabling a size reduction from 1 in to 3/4 in. It handles the mechanical demands of threaded conduit systems in classified zones. The fitting is not suited for applications requiring a larger reduction step or non-threaded conduit types.

The bushing converts a 1 in male threaded conduit opening to a 3/4 in female thread, letting you step down to smaller IMC or rigid conduit without a separate reducer.
The NPT tapered threads seal on engagement, so the joint is limited to the pressure rating of the conduit system and the hazardous-location class of the fitting.
It threads directly into a 1 in female hub, adds about 3/4 in of overall length and weighs 0.08 lb, so no extra brackets or clearance are required.
