Appliance Factory Parts 5303917954 G162690-1 Thermostat appliance part

Refrigerator Thermostat Replacement

This aftermarket thermostat replaces the original control on compatible Electrolux, Frigidaire, Hotpoint and Kenmore refrigerators. It regulates the cooling cycle by opening at 55 degrees Fahrenheit and closing again at 25 degrees Fahrenheit. The part suits owners repairing a unit that no longer maintains the correct temperature range.

Gibson-Style Tubing Fit

The component uses a Gibson-style body shaped to match the existing tubing layout, so it installs without modification to the refrigerant lines. Supplied as a single unit under part number 5303917954, it crosses to reference 5303917626 and SL2690 for identification. The design targets a direct mechanical fit on the listed models.

30-to-55-Degree Operating Window

The thermostat cuts power to the compressor when the sensed temperature reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit and restores it once the temperature falls to 25 degrees Fahrenheit. This fixed differential determines whether the part matches the original specification for your appliance. Verify the cut-in and cut-out points before ordering.
