Rugged build and connectivity

A USB 3.0 interface delivers transfer rates up to 10x faster than USB 2.0 through the attached cable and included Y-cable for additional power. The keypad and case are impervious to dust, grit and water for durability in transit. An unattended auto-lock feature secures the drive automatically after a period of inactivity. A travel pouch is supplied for protection during transport.

Quiet mechanical operation

The internal 5400 RPM drive with 8MB cache and 12ms average seek time runs silently in typical desktop use. Power is drawn entirely from the USB bus via the Y-cable, eliminating the need for an external power adapter. Heat dissipation is handled passively through the metal enclosure during normal operation. No fan noise is present.
