Aputure 49.2' Head Cable for STORM XT52

SKU CH-CE7D-5XT5G

A 49.2' cable powers the STORM XT52 LED light and can be extended to 45m

  • Extended placement options with 49.2 ft cable length
  • Reliable connection engineered for STORM XT52 LED light
  • Professional-grade construction withstands demanding studio use
  • Stable power delivery maintains consistent lighting output
  • Supports daisy-chaining up to 45 m total length

Extended Reach Cable

The Aputure 49.2' Head Cable is a 15-metre power link built exclusively for the STORM XT52 LED light. It gives cinematographers and studio technicians the freedom to position the fixture far from the power source without signal degradation. Professional lighting crews gain reliable current delivery across long runs in both studio and on-location environments.

Upgrade From Shorter Leads

This cable replaces the standard shorter head cable supplied with the STORM XT52 when the fixture must sit farther from the ballast or power supply. The jump is worth it whenever a rig demands more than the stock length allows, such as overhead grids, large cycloramas or remote exterior placements. It also enables daisy-chaining up to a total 45-metre run for extreme distance requirements.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your fixture is the STORM XT52 model, as the connector and wiring are specific to that unit. Confirm the required run length does not exceed the 45-metre maximum supported chain. Ensure the cable routing path can accommodate a 15-metre length without creating trip hazards or tension on the head connector.

Questions about this item

What length is the head cable for the STORM XT52?

The cable is 49.2 feet (15 m) long and is designed to connect the STORM XT52 head to its power source.

How do I install the 49.2' cable on the STORM XT52, and what step is often missed?

Replace it if the outer jacket shows cuts or abrasion, the locking collar no longer holds, or you notice flickering caused by intermittent contact inside the connector.
