400 W Tunable White Monolight
The Aputure STORM 400x is a 400 W tunable white LED monolight built for professional film and commercial production. Its BLAIR five-diode chipset covers 2500 K to 10 000 K with ±G tint adjustment across the full ASC MITC range. The IP65 weather-resistant housing and ProLock Bowens mount suit both studio and run-and-gun environments.
Replaces Gel Workflows and Larger Fixtures
The ±G control and 70 % Rec. 2020 coverage let you match mixed ambient sources without carrying correction gels. Output of 64 600 lux at 1 m (5600 K) with the 35° reflector matches many higher-wattage COB units. The jump is worth it when you need accurate white-point continuity and saturated colour effects from a single compact head.
Bowens Mount and Wireless Control
The ProLock Bowens mount secures heavy modifiers with a locking action that prevents rotation during moves. Control options include Sidus Link Bluetooth mesh, LumenRadio CRMX and 16-bit 5-pin DMX512 in/out for integration into existing lighting networks. Ensure DMX addressing is set before rigging to avoid channel conflicts on multi-head setups.
