Alcove Tub Dimensions and Material

The Aqua Eden VTDR603222L is a new 60-inch by 37-inch white acrylic alcove bathtub. Its durable acrylic construction is designed for easy repair and long-term performance. The left-hand drain configuration suits standard three-wall alcove installations. This tub is built for homeowners who want a straightforward soaking tub without whirlpool features.

Installation Approach and Common Issues

The supplier describes the tub as extremely user-friendly with effortless installation and simplistic construction. Acrylic is lightweight compared with cast iron, so handling and positioning are generally manageable for two people. The main risk is damaging the acrylic surface during placement or when connecting the drain assembly; use protective padding and follow the manufacturer's leveling instructions carefully.

Pre-Order Checks for Your Bathroom

Verify that your alcove opening measures at least 60 inches in length and 37 inches in width to accommodate this tub. Confirm the existing drain rough-in aligns with a left-hand drain location before ordering. Ensure the subfloor can support the filled weight of an acrylic tub and that the surrounding walls are prepared for the required wall flange or tile flange integration.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the tub holds water properly after installation?

Fill the tub to the overflow level and watch the left-hand drain for any seepage; a steady water line with no drops around the drain or the 60-by-37-inch acrylic walls means the seal is sound.

What components arrive with the VTDR603222L and what must I supply?

The box contains the white acrylic alcove tub shell only; you will need to purchase a compatible drain assembly, overflow cover, faucet, and any required plumbing fittings separately.

Which version of the 603222 model should I choose for a left-hand drain layout?

The VTDR603222L is the left-hand drain variant; select this SKU when your alcove plumbing places the waste outlet on the left side as viewed from the apron.
