Stem Compatibility Limits

The handle includes three square adapters for square valve stems and a round hub with triple set screws for round or stripped stems. It fits most common residential stem profiles but cannot accommodate oversized, non-standard or proprietary stem shapes. The three-screw stud design requires enough exposed stem length for the set screws to engage securely. Very short or recessed stems may prevent installation.
