Solid cast brass house number

The Architectural Mailboxes 3585DC-4 is a solid cast brass floating house number finished in dark aged copper. It provides a clear five-inch digit for residential or commercial address identification. The hand-applied finish gives each piece a distinctive aged appearance. Buyers who need illuminated or solar-powered digits will not find that feature here.

Mounting flexibility and surface appeal

The numbers can be installed flush against the wall for a traditional look. Alternatively, leaving the mounting screws partially extended creates a floating effect with visible depth. No screw heads or mounting holes remain visible after installation. The solid brass construction weathers naturally without additional coatings.

Brass durability and installation notes

Solid cast brass resists corrosion and maintains structural integrity through seasonal temperature changes. The dark aged copper patina develops character over time rather than fading. Mounting hardware is designed for standard wall surfaces such as wood, stucco or masonry. Installers should verify screw length suits the specific substrate thickness.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 3585 floating house number for the floating effect?

Partially insert the mounting screws into the wall, then hang the solid cast brass number on the exposed screw shanks so it sits away from the surface with no visible screw heads.

What maintenance will the dark aged copper finish need over time?

The hand-finished aged copper will naturally develop a deeper patina; occasional gentle cleaning with a soft cloth preserves the look without removing the protective oxidation.

At what order value does free shipping apply for the 3585 house number?

Orders of 75 or more qualify for free shipping direct from the manufacturer.
