Frame Kit for 18x24" Artwork

The Archival Methods Gallery 12 Wood Frame Kit in Natural Maple is built for artists, photographers and collectors who want to present 18x24 inch pieces with a clean, modern border. It arrives as a ready-to-assemble kit made from solid maple with a clear finish.

Profile 12 Dimensions

The decisive specification is the Profile 12 profile: a 5/8 inch face, 1 inch deep sides and a 3/16 inch rabbet that determines exactly how thick a mat, glass and backing stack can be.

Capacity and Limits

The frame comfortably holds a standard 18x24 inch print with a single mat and glazing up to the 3/16 inch rabbet depth. It runs out when the total package exceeds that rabbet or when the artwork itself is larger than 18x24 inches.

Questions about this item

What does the 18x24" size mean for the artwork I can display?

The frame holds artwork or photographs that measure 18 by 24 inches, so the visible window matches that exact sheet size.

How does the Profile 12 design with a 3/16" rabbet affect what I can mount inside?

The 3/16" rabbet depth accepts artwork, backing board and glazing up to that combined thickness, while the 5/8" face and 1" sides give the frame its front profile.

What hardware is needed to assemble and mount the natural maple frame kit?

A Phillips head screwdriver is all that is required for assembly; the kit includes the corner hardware, and the finished frame can be hung with standard picture-hanging hooks.
