This black archival box measures 3 x 11.5 x 17.25 inches and is built from heavyweight Archival Grade boxboard. Metal edge clamps with corrosion-treated polyester coating add rigidity and high stacking strength. The lignin content tests at a Kappa number of 5 or less. It suits artists, photographers and archivists who need flat, long-term storage for prints, photos, scores or documents.

Verify Material Compatibility First

Ensure the items you plan to store are safe for contact with fully bleached, high alpha cellulose pulp that contains no post-consumer recycled content. The paper holds a minimum of 3% calcium carbonate buffer with a pH range of 8 to 9.5. Reducible sulfur is below .0008%, iron below 150 ppm and copper below 6 ppm. No optical brighteners, waxes or plasticisers are present.

Ideal for Flat Archival Collections

This box serves collectors, museums and libraries preserving flat ephemera such as letters, pamphlets, newspapers and digital prints. Rounded soft corners on the drop front protect fragile edges during handling. Scalloped finger grips on the top cover allow easy opening. Buyers needing upright file storage, humidity-controlled cabinets or larger-format enclosures should consider other solutions.
