SKU CH-JNFC-R9GWB

Five 40 mm server fans with dual ball bearings, 1400-15000 RPM PWM speed range, 26.5 mm/H2O static pressure and 32.67 m³/h airflow for 1U racks and network gear

  • Dual ball bearings extend lifespan and resist heat and dust
  • PWM speed control from 1400 to 15000 RPM for precise cooling
  • 5 mm/H2O static pressure handles dense radiators and filters
  • 67 m³/h maximum airflow suits case and radiator roles
  • 40 cm cable and standard 4-pin connector fit 1U servers and network gear

40 mm Server Fan 5 Pack

The ARCTIC S4028-15K is a 40x40x28 mm 12 V PWM server fan sold as a five-pack. It targets system builders maintaining 1U racks, networking gear, NAS units, DVRs, Mini PCs, HTPCs, hard-disk enclosures or 3D printers that need a compact, high-speed replacement. The 4-pin connector also works on 2-pin or 3-pin headers for broad compatibility.

15 000 RPM Range and 26.5 mm/H₂O Pressure

Speed spans 1400 to 15 000 RPM via PWM or voltage regulation, delivering up to 32.67 m³/h airflow and 26.5 mm/H₂O static pressure. That combination handles dense radiator fins and restrictive chassis paths, but the 40 mm frame limits total volume compared with larger fans, so extreme heat loads may need multiple units or a bigger form factor.

Dual Ball Bearings and 40 cm Cable

Two ball bearings secure the impeller, increasing durability and reducing sensitivity to heat and dust. The standard 4-pin PWM connector fits 2-pin and 3-pin headers, while the 40 cm cable gives routing flexibility inside tight enclosures. Buyers needing quieter low-RPM operation or larger diameter mounting holes should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 40 mm 12 V PWM fans fit alongside the 3-pin headers on my older router board?

Yes, the 4-pin connector works on 2-pin or 3-pin headers, and the 40 cm cable gives enough reach for tight layouts.

How can I confirm the 15000 RPM maximum and 26.5 mm/H₂O static pressure are being reached after installation?

Monitor the PWM duty cycle in your server BIOS or fan-control software; the fan reports speed via the fourth pin so you can verify 1400–15000 RPM operation.

Does the five-pack include mounting screws or vibration pads, or must I buy them separately?

The pack contains five 40×40×28 mm fans with 40 cm cables only; screws and vibration pads are not included and must be sourced separately.
