Traditional B&W Enlarging Paper
Arista EDU Ultra VC FB is a fibre-base, variable-contrast black-and-white photographic paper supplied in 25 sheets measuring 11 by 14 inches. It is intended for darkroom printers who want graded-contrast control from a single box and a glossy surface for rich tonal depth.
Darkroom Safelight & Enlarger Check
Before ordering, verify that your darkroom runs standard OC, red or sodium-vapour safelights with bulbs no brighter than 15 watts. Confirm your enlarger uses a tungsten or tungsten-quartz-halogen source and can hold Ilford Multigrade or Kodak Polymax filters for grades 0 through 5.
Sustained Printing Consistency
Under repeated exposures the paper holds a constant ISO P200 speed from grade 00 up to grade 3.5, while grades 4 and 5 need roughly double the exposure each time. Fibre base construction keeps contrast response stable across long printing sessions without the drift sometimes seen on resin-coated alternatives.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box and do I need to buy chemicals or filters separately?
The pack contains 25 sheets of 11x14 inch glossy fiber-base paper. Standard black-and-white developer, stop bath and fixer must be purchased separately. Contrast is controlled with Ilford Multigrade or Kodak Polymax/Polycontrast filters, or a colour-head enlarger, which are also sold separately.
Should I choose the glossy or semi-matte surface for this paper?
This listing is for the glossy surface only. The same Arista.EDU Ultra FB VC paper is also available in semi-matte, but that version is a separate product.
What does the ISO P200 speed rating mean when I am printing under an enlarger?
With Ilford Multigrade filters grades 00 through 3.5 the paper behaves at ISO P200. Grades 4 and 5 need roughly double the exposure. Handle only under OC, red or sodium-vapor safelights with a 15 watt maximum bulb.
