48-port 10 GbE SFP+ line card

The Arista DCS-7500E-48S-LC provides 48 ports of 1/10 GbE SFP+ connectivity in a rack-mount form factor. It is built for network operators expanding capacity inside an Arista 7500E series chassis.

Installs in an Arista 7500E series chassis

The card occupies a line-card slot in the chassis and requires compatible SFP+ transceivers for each active link. It is not hot-swappable, so installation or removal demands a planned maintenance window.

Sustained 10 GbE line-rate forwarding

Under continuous load the line card maintains wire-speed performance across all 48 ports without throughput degradation. The fixed-port design avoids the variability that can appear with modular or oversubscribed alternatives.
