Armor VCI bags 24 × 36 inches

These corrosion-inhibiting poly bags protect metal parts during storage and transport. The gusseted bottom allows the bag to expand around bulky items. Each case contains 125 blue bags made from 4 mil low-density polyethylene.

Sustained protection from VCI chemistry

Vapor-phase inhibitors migrate inside the bag and form a molecular layer on metal surfaces. The effect persists while the bag remains closed and the material stays intact. No oils, coatings or desiccants are required for the barrier to function.

Check dimensions and closure method before ordering

The open-end design means you must heat-seal, tape or tie each bag after loading. Verify that 24-inch width and 36-inch depth suit the largest parts you plan to store. Confirm the 4 mil thickness meets your handling and puncture-resistance needs.

Questions about this item

Does the 4 mil LDPE material trap heat when the bags sit in direct sun all day?

The 4 mil low-density polyethylene is thin and breathable, so it does not hold heat like heavier films; contents stay near ambient temperature.

What closure method do I need to seal each 24 by 36 inch gusseted bag after loading parts?

The bags ship open-ended with no built-in closure, so you supply your own heat sealer, twist ties or tape.

Will the blue VCI chemistry affect older galvanized or painted tools stored inside the same case pack?

The vapour-phase inhibitor is non-reactive and safe for galvanized, painted or bare metal surfaces already in your inventory.
