Chair type and intended users

The Arozzi Vernazza SoftPU is a high-back ergonomic chair finished in brown fabric and built for desk-based gaming or office work. Its metal frame and aluminium wheel base support a wide range of body types, while the upgraded gas lift adds extra seat height for taller users.

Fabric limits and daily use

The soft furniture-grade fabric is breathable for long sessions but is not water-resistant and will absorb spills or oils more readily than coated leather alternatives. The material can show wear on high-contact surfaces after extended daily use and requires fabric-safe cleaning methods.

Assembly steps and common issues

Assembly follows a standard bolt-together process: attach the base, cylinder, seat, backrest, armrests and pillows using the included hardware. The most frequent problems are misaligned armrest brackets, stripped threads from over-tightening, and a stiff tilt lock that needs a firm push to engage.

Questions about this item

How does the breathable fabric perform during long sessions in a warm room?

The material is designed to keep you cool for extended use, unlike leatherette which can trap heat against the body.

What does the pro locking tilt mechanism actually let me do at my desk?

It allows you to lock the backrest at multiple recline angles or leave it free-floating for a rocking motion while you work or game.
