ARRIS AX11000 Wi-Fi 6 mesh system

The ARRIS 1000768 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6 mesh kit containing two identical nodes. It delivers combined wireless rates up to 11 Gbps under the AX11000 class. The system supports IEEE 802.11a, b, g, n, ac and ax standards for broad device compatibility. A mobile app provides a setup wizard, network management tools and parental controls.

Ideal for large homes needing whole-home coverage

This two-pack suits households that want to eliminate dead zones across multiple floors or large floor plans without running Ethernet cables. It serves families streaming 4K video or using VR headsets simultaneously. Buyers who only need to cover a single room or small apartment should look at a standalone router instead.

AX11000 tri-band throughput rating

The headline specification is the AX11000 rating, which represents the aggregate theoretical maximum across three radio bands. Real-world throughput will be lower and depends on client capabilities, building materials and channel congestion. Confirm that your devices support Wi-Fi 6 to benefit fully from the available bandwidth.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum combined wireless data rate the AX11000 mesh system can deliver?

The AX11000 mesh system delivers up to 11Gbps combined wireless data rates across its tri-band Wi-Fi 6 radios.

How much heat and noise should I expect when both mesh units run continuously?

The SURFboard mAX Pro units use passive cooling with no fans, so they run silently and generate minimal heat during all-day operation.

What internet connection and modem do I need before these mesh units will work?

You need an active cable internet subscription and a separate DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem such as the SB8200 to provide the WAN connection for the mesh system.
