20-Core Ultra 7 Desktop for High-Refresh Gaming

This ArsenalPC desktop pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF 20-core processor with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD support fast level loads and multitasking. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes 2.5G Ethernet plus wireless connectivity.

Upgrade Path from Mid-Range 8-Core Builds

Moving up from an 8-core configuration adds twelve extra threads for background encoding, streaming overlays and heavy mod lists. The 240mm liquid cooler keeps the 5.4GHz boost clock stable during extended sessions. Buyers who want more storage than the single 2TB drive provides will need to add secondary drives themselves.

Sustained Load Behaviour with 850W Supply

Under continuous gaming load the 850W power supply feeds both the 20-core CPU and the 16GB GDDR6 GPU without throttling. Liquid cooling moves heat away from the processor faster than air towers, keeping clock speeds consistent over hours. The Gigabyte C301 GLASS case showcases RGB lighting while exhausting warm air through its mesh panels.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the Gigabyte C301 GLASS case need for the 240 mm liquid cooler?

The 240 mm liquid cooler mounts in the Gigabyte C301 GLASS case; verify chassis radiator support and tube routing space before adding components.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler installed on the Core Ultra 7 265KF, and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator, attach the water block to the LGA 1851 socket with the supplied bracket, then connect the pump header and fan cables — skipping the pump-header connection is the common error.

When will the 240 mm liquid cooler need maintenance or replacement?

A sealed 240 mm liquid cooler typically runs for several years; monitor coolant temperature and pump noise, and replace the unit if temperatures rise or the pump fails.
