Purpose-built gaming desktop

This ArsenalPC system pairs a 16-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor at 4.7GHz with an RTX 5090 graphics card carrying 32GB GDDR7 memory. The 128GB DDR5 capacity and 2TB NVMe SSD provide headroom for modern titles and creative workloads. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and tested.

Thermals and acoustics

A 360mm liquid cooler with a panoramic LCD handles the CPU, supported by three 120mm fans on the radiator. Seven additional 120mm case fans move air through the Hyte X50 Purple chassis, totalling ten fans. The 1200W power supply delivers overhead for the full component stack under sustained load.

Deciding specification

The RTX 5090 with 32GB GDDR7 is the single component that defines 4K gaming and heavy compute capability in this build. Buyers who need less graphics memory or a lower-tier GPU should consider a different configuration. The 128GB DDR5 and 2TB NVMe SSD complement the card but do not replace its role.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler and its panoramic LCD, and what step do people often miss?

The 360 mm liquid cooler arrives pre-filled and mounted inside the Hyte X50 Purple case; the step people miss is connecting the LCD's internal USB header to the motherboard so the screen powers on and displays temperatures.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360 mm liquid cooler and the ten 120 mm fans need later?

The closed-loop cooler requires no fluid changes; plan to clean dust from the seven case fans and three radiator fans every six to twelve months and replace any fan that develops bearing noise.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5090 with this cooling setup?

The 1200 W power supply and 360 mm liquid cooler keep both the 16-core CPU at 4.7 GHz and the 32 GB GDDR7 GPU within thermal limits, so the first bottleneck is usually the 2 TB NVMe SSD reaching its sustained write throttle.
