MSI GUNGNIR 110R Gaming Desktop

This pre-built desktop uses an MSI GUNGNIR 110R chassis with a 240 mm liquid cooler. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and is aimed at gamers who want a ready-to-play system without assembling parts themselves. The 18-core Core Ultra 5 250KF processor and Radeon RX 9070 graphics card target high-refresh 1440p gaming and content creation workloads.

Installation and Common Issues

The PC arrives fully assembled and tested, so the only physical steps are connecting power, display and peripherals. Because the CPU uses the LGA 1851 socket, future processor upgrades require a compatible motherboard and cooler mounting kit. The 288-pin DDR5 slots are occupied by the 64 GB kit, leaving no free DIMM slots for simple memory expansion without removing modules.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 240 mm liquid cooler is designed to keep the 18-core CPU near its 5.3 GHz boost during extended sessions rather than only in short bursts. The 750 W power supply delivers headroom for the RX 9070 and other components under continuous gaming or rendering loads. The 2 TB NVMe SSD and 64 GB DDR5 maintain consistent throughput without thermal throttling during prolonged use.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 240mm liquid cooler is keeping the Core Ultra 5 250KF at safe temperatures?

Enter the BIOS or use Windows monitoring software to watch the CPU temperature under load; the liquid loop should keep it well below the thermal limit during extended gaming sessions.

Which components are included in the box and what must I provide myself?

The system ships complete with the MSI GUNGNIR 110R case, 240mm liquid cooler, Core Ultra 5 250KF, 64GB DDR5, 2TB NVMe SSD, Radeon RX 9070 16GB GDDR6, 750W power supply, Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi and 2.5G Ethernet; you only need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Is the 64GB DDR5 and 2TB NVMe configuration the right choice for 1440p gaming and multitasking?

Yes, 64GB DDR5 gives ample headroom for modern titles and background apps while the 2TB NVMe drive holds a large game library with fast load times.
