Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core desktop

This ArsenalPC gaming desktop pairs a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7-14700KF with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD plus a 2 TB hard drive provide fast storage capacity. A 360 mm liquid cooler and 750 W power supply support the high-performance components inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case.

Upgrade from integrated or entry graphics

The RX 9070 with 16 GB GDDR6 replaces integrated graphics or older mid-range cards for 1440p gaming and content creation. The jump is worth it when your current system struggles with modern titles at high settings or lacks the 2.5 G Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity this build includes. Builders who need more than 32 GB RAM or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

2 TB NVMe plus 2 TB hard drive headroom

The combined 4 TB of storage handles large game libraries, media projects and daily files with room to spare. The NVMe drive keeps the operating system and active titles responsive while the hard drive archives bulk data. When workloads demand more than 32 GB DDR5 or faster GPU memory than 16 GB GDDR6, this configuration reaches its limit.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler and the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case fit on a standard desk?

The 360 mm radiator mounts inside the Helios GX601 chassis, so the assembled tower measures roughly mid-tower height and depth; allow about 50 cm clearance above the desk for the top exhaust fans.

How do I install the 32 GB DDR5 memory if I want to add more later?

Power off, open the side panel, align each 288-pin DIMM with the motherboard slots and press firmly until the retention clips click; the common mistake is seating only one side of the module.

When should I plan to replace the liquid cooler on this i7-14700KF system?

A sealed 360 mm loop typically runs five to seven years before pump wear or coolant loss appears; watch for rising CPU temperatures or unusual pump noise as replacement indicators.
