System identity

The ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X processor running at 3.8GHz and a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 system memory, a 1TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB hard drive and an 850W power supply inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the machine is aimed at players who want a ready-to-go high-refresh 1440p or entry 4K rig.

Sustained behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU temperature stable during long sessions so clock speeds hold near their rated levels instead of dropping after a few minutes. The 850W unit delivers consistent power to the RTX 5070 Ti and the rest of the platform without throttling when both CPU and GPU are fully loaded. Component brands may vary but the specification is tested as a complete system before dispatch.

Thermals noise and power

Liquid cooling moves heat away from the processor more quietly than a tower air cooler so fan noise stays low in typical gaming workloads. The 850W supply operates well within its capacity at normal load which helps efficiency and keeps internal case temperatures moderate. RGB lighting on the case and components can be adjusted or disabled through software if a darker environment is preferred.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 360mm liquid cooler run when the Ryzen 7 9700X is under sustained load?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to keep the Ryzen 7 9700X at safe temperatures during extended sessions, reducing the need for high fan speeds compared to air cooling.

Does the motherboard in the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case provide a 2.5G Ethernet port for my wired network?

Yes, the system includes a 2.5G Ethernet connection for fast wired networking.

Can I add the 2TB HDD from my older PC into this build alongside the 1TB NVMe SSD?

The case supports additional drives, so the 2TB HDD can be installed alongside the existing 1TB NVMe SSD and 2TB HDD.
