Vertix Mini Tower Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Vertix is a pre-built gaming desktop in a Mini Tower chassis finished in turquoise. It ships with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X eight-core processor, 32GB DDR4 memory, dual 1TB PCIe NVMe SSDs, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6. Windows 10 Home is installed and a 750W power supply drives the system.

Check Motherboard Memory Slots And OS Preference

The board uses DDR4 DIMM slots; verify how many are populated so you know whether future upgrades require removing modules. The operating system is Windows 10 Home with a Windows 11 Pro upgrade path offered; confirm the edition matches your licensing needs before ordering. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and Bluetooth 5.2; ensure your router and peripherals support these standards for full speed.

Upgrade From Entry-Level Or Older GPU Systems

This configuration replaces a desktop limited to 16GB memory, a single SSD, or a graphics card below the RTX 3070 tier. The jump is worth it when you need 32GB DDR4 for multitasking, 2TB NVMe storage for large libraries, and 8GB GDDR6 VRAM for 1440p gaming. Buyers who want more storage bays, a larger chassis, or a newer GPU architecture should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the Velztorm Vertix ship with a monitor, keyboard or mouse, or do I need to buy them separately?

The system arrives as a complete tower only. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed and the 750W power supply, Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and Bluetooth 5.2 are built in. No display, keyboard or mouse are included.

Should I choose the 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB DDR4 option for the Ryzen 7 5800X and RTX 3070 build?

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration matches the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X and 8 GB GDDR6 RTX 3070 well for 1440p gaming and multitasking. The 16 GB tier can limit background tasks, while 64 GB adds cost with diminishing returns for pure gaming.

What does the RTX 3070's 8 GB GDDR6 and PCIe 4.0 support deliver in actual 1440p gameplay?

The 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer and PCIe 4.0 link let the RTX 3070 sustain high frame rates at 1440p ultra settings in modern DirectX 12 titles. G-SYNC support on the DisplayPort output keeps motion smooth when frame rates vary.
