System purpose

This pre-built gaming desktop pairs a 16-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor at 4.7GHz with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card carrying 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The 128GB DDR5 configuration and 4TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA III HDD suit enthusiasts who want high frame rates and large local libraries without assembling parts themselves. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and tested.

Installation reality

The complete system arrives assembled inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis with a 360mm liquid cooler already mounted and an 850W power supply connected. All four memory slots are populated, so adding more DDR5 later requires removing existing modules. Component brands may vary from the images shown, but the specification remains consistent.

Platform limits

The AM5 socket supports current Ryzen 9000 series processors; future CPU upgrades will depend on BIOS updates that are not guaranteed. The PCI Express x16 slot hosts the included GPU; a second full-size graphics card cannot be added. The 850W unit powers the present configuration; significant hardware changes may exceed its capacity.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is running at its 4.7GHz base frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, click CPU and watch the speed readout settle at 4.7GHz while idle; the 360mm liquid cooler should keep temperatures low enough to sustain that clock under load.

What components ship inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case and what must I provide?

The box contains the complete desktop with 128GB DDR5, 4TB NVMe SSD, 2TB SATA HDD, Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB GDDR6, 850W PSU, Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi, RGB lighting and the 360mm liquid cooler; only a monitor, keyboard, mouse and power cable are needed separately.

Which storage combination suits a library of large games plus fast OS boot?

The 4TB NVMe drive provides rapid load times for active titles while the 2TB SATA HDD adds economical bulk space for older games and media, giving both speed and capacity in one system.
