System purpose

The ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X processor and an RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It targets enthusiasts who want a pre-assembled Windows 11 Home machine with 64GB DDR5 RAM and combined 4TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD storage for immediate high-resolution play.

Sustained-load behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the 1000W power supply feeds the full platform during extended sessions. The ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis provides airflow for the GPU so clock speeds remain stable over long periods rather than throttling after a short burst.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your monitor cables match the RTX 5080 display outputs and that your desk space accommodates the Helios GX601 case dimensions. Confirm your local mains voltage suits the 1000W unit and that any extra peripherals you plan to add are supported by the motherboard rear I/O. Buyers who need a second graphics card or more internal drive bays should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 9 9900X during long sessions?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X thermal output, maintaining lower temperatures and quieter operation than air cooling under sustained all-day gaming or rendering loads.

Does the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case include the 2.5G Ethernet port and Wi-Fi antennas needed for a wired and wireless network?

Yes, the motherboard provides integrated 2.5G Ethernet and a wireless card, while the case rear I/O panel exposes the LAN port and antenna mounts so both connections work immediately.

Will the 1000W power supply and AM5 motherboard support my existing DDR5 memory kits and NVMe drives if I add them later?

The platform uses DDR5 slots and NVMe-capable M.2 sockets on the AM5 chipset; the 1000W unit supplies ample headroom for additional drives and memory without exceeding rated capacity.
