ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 Gaming Desktop

This new desktop is built for enthusiasts who want a complete, liquid-cooled system ready for high-end gaming and heavy multitasking. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and tested so it works straight away. The ROG Strix Helios GX601 case adds RGB lighting and a distinctive look.

16-core Ryzen 9 9950X at 4.3 GHz

The processor delivers 16 cores and a 4.3 GHz base frequency on the AMD AM5 platform. This core count and clock speed decide whether the machine can handle demanding creative workloads alongside modern games. Buyers who need more cores or a higher base clock will need a different CPU configuration.

128 GB DDR5 with 2 TB NVMe and 2 TB HDD

The 128 GB DDR5 memory and 2 TB NVMe SSD give ample headroom for large projects, virtual machines and fast game loads. The additional 2 TB HDD provides bulk space for media libraries and backups. Users who require more than 128 GB of RAM or faster primary storage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What real-world difference does the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X make in this build?

The 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X running at 4.3 GHz handles heavy multitasking and high-frame-rate gaming simultaneously, backed by a 360 mm liquid cooler to sustain boost clocks under load.

How does the 2.5 G Ethernet port perform in a typical home setup?

The 2.5 G Ethernet link caps at 2.5 gigabits per second, so it will saturate only if your router, switch and internet plan all exceed 1 Gbps.

Will the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case fit a standard ATX motherboard and the 360 mm radiator together?

Yes, the Helios GX601 is designed for ATX boards and includes dedicated mounting points for a 360 mm radiator, which this system uses for the CPU liquid cooler.
