Built for high-frame-rate gaming

This desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K running at 5.7 GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 750W power supply support sustained loads. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on a 4TB NVMe SSD alongside a 2TB hard drive. The ASUS TUF GT501 case adds RGB lighting and 2.5G Ethernet connectivity.

Liquid cooling handles the 24-core processor

A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the Core Ultra 9 285K at stable temperatures during extended sessions. This cooling capacity is the specification that determines whether the system can maintain its 5.7 GHz boost without thermal throttling. Buyers who need to overclock beyond stock limits or run continuous all-core workloads at maximum frequency should verify the cooler's headroom against those demands.

Storage layout separates speed from capacity

The 4TB NVMe drive holds the operating system and active games for fast load times, while the 2TB hard drive stores larger media libraries and backups. This arrangement changes daily workflow by keeping the boot drive uncluttered. Users who want a single large solid-state volume or who plan to run RAID arrays will need to add drives and configure the motherboard accordingly.

Questions about this item

How does the 5.7 GHz boost clock on the Core Ultra 9 285K feel in actual games?

The 24 cores hit 5.7 GHz on light threads, so the most demanding game logic runs at full speed while background tasks stay on the efficient cores, keeping frame rates smooth in CPU-heavy titles.

What does the 2.5 G Ethernet port actually limit in daily use?

The 2.5 G Ethernet caps wired throughput at roughly 2.5 Gb/s, so large game downloads or NAS transfers finish noticeably faster than on a standard gigabit link.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler fit inside the ASUS TUF GT501 case without blocking the RTX 5060 Ti?

The 240 mm radiator mounts in the front or top of the TUF GT501, leaving full clearance for the RTX 5060 Ti and the 750 W power supply.
