Purpose and user

This pack supplies 25 lanyards built for the Vocera B3000 and B3000N communication badges. Healthcare staff, hospitality teams and other mobile workers can wear the badge hands-free around the neck throughout a shift.

What it replaces and when to buy

The lanyards replace worn or missing original cords that secure the badge to the user. Order a box when a department onboards new employees, refreshes existing kits or needs spares for lost or damaged attachments.

Practical limits of the attachment

Each lanyard uses double break-away fasteners that release under tension for safety, plus adjustable beads to set the wearing length. A hinge clip secures the badge, positioning it roughly 6 inches below the chin for reliable voice pickup.

Questions about this item

Does the lanyard clip directly onto the Vocera B3000 badge?

Yes, the hinge clip attaches straight to the B3000 or B3000N badge so it hangs around the neck.

How do the double break-away fasteners work during daily use?

Both fasteners release under tension, letting the lanyard separate instantly if it catches on equipment.

Will the adjustment beads wear out or need replacing over time?

The beads are moulded into the cord and do not have a separate replacement schedule.
