What this product is

The Artistic Urban Collection Punched Metal Magazine File is a desktop organiser made from perforated steel with a satin black finish. It measures 3 1/2 inches wide by 10 inches deep by 11 1/2 inches high and includes protective feet to guard the desktop surface. Reinforced rounded edges add durability while the front panel keeps contents from sliding out. It is designed to hold magazines, catalogues or reference materials within easy reach.

Practical limits of the design

The 3 1/2 inch width restricts the organiser to slim publications and prevents storage of wider binders or large-format documents. Perforated steel construction allows visibility but offers no enclosure against dust or spills. The unit sits directly on the desk and cannot be wall-mounted or stacked with other units. Contents taller than the 11 1/2 inch front panel may tip forward when the file is moved.

Deciding specification

The 3 1/2 inch width is the single measurement that determines whether this file fits the intended publications. If the materials to be stored exceed that width, the organiser will not accommodate them.
