12 Dual-Tip Acrylic Paint Markers

This set includes 12 water-based acrylic paint markers, each equipped with a 1 mm fine tip and a flexible 15 mm brush tip. The dual-tip design lets users switch between precise line work and broad expressive strokes. They are suited to lettering, sketching, colouring, illustration and a range of DIY art projects. Conforms to ASTM D-4236 standards.

Sustained use on varied surfaces

The cotton nibs deliver a smooth, consistent ink flow that remains reliable during extended drawing sessions. Coverage stays opaque on most materials, though results vary with surface colour and porosity. Non-porous surfaces such as glass, ceramic and metal may need extra drying time for the best finish.

Ready-to-use convenience

Markers arrive with pre-activated cotton tips, so no pumping or pressing is required before the first stroke. Storing the pens horizontally and giving a gentle shake before use helps maintain even flow. Water-based acrylic formulation keeps odour low and cleanup simple with water while the paint is wet.

Questions about this item

Do the 15 mm brush tips dry out quickly during a long painting session?

The pre-activated cotton nibs deliver smooth, consistent flow without constant pumping, and storing the markers horizontally keeps the tips saturated for extended use.

What surfaces should I have ready before opening the 12-pack?

The water-based acrylic paint works on paper, canvas, wood, rock, ceramic, glass and metal, though non-porous surfaces like glass and metal need extra drying time.

Can I layer these markers over older acrylic paintings without lifting the underlying colour?

Once dry the opaque, water-based acrylic is permanent and conforms to ASTM D-4236, so it resists re-wetting and allows clean layering on cured artwork.
