Wireless Remote Lighting Kit

The Asante BHC1801-5-2 kit provides wireless on-off control for household appliances using five plug-in outlet modules and two handheld remotes. It suits renters or homeowners who want remote switching for lamps, fans, heaters, coffee makers or holiday lights without rewiring. Each outlet occupies a single wall socket and the system is certified to FCC and ETL standards for indoor use.

Check voltage and load before ordering

The outlets operate at 120 V~/60 Hz with a maximum rating of 10 A or 1200 W per socket, so verify that each connected device stays within that limit. The remotes transmit at 433.92 MHz and offer up to 100 ft line-of-sight range through doors, walls and windows; confirm the intended locations fall within this distance. Two 12 V 23 A alkaline batteries are included for the remotes and are non-rechargeable.

Suits simple indoor switching.

This kit fits users who need basic manual remote control of indoor plug-load devices and prefer a plug-and-play setup. It does not support voice assistants, app control or scheduling, so buyers who want smart-home integration or automated routines should look elsewhere. The outlets are not rated for outdoor installation.
