Outdoor Dimmer Plug for String Lights

The Palawell T5 is a corded-electric dimmer switch rated for 560 watts. It suits homeowners who want wireless control of patio, backyard or holiday string lighting without replacing existing bulbs. A 100-foot RF remote provides 360-degree operation through walls and doors. A manual backup button on the unit ensures control if the remote is misplaced.

IP65 Waterproof Construction and Thermal Protection

The plug uses a V0-grade fireproof PC shell with internal silicone filling for heat dissipation. Its IP65 rating resists dust, humidity, cold and intense sunlight for year-round outdoor use. An overload circuit automatically reduces brightness if output power exceeds safe limits. The device operates on corded electric power with no embedded battery.

560W Maximum Load Capacity

This single specification determines whether the dimmer can handle your light installation. The 560-watt ceiling supports most standard string-light sets but excludes high-power commercial runs. Buyers planning larger displays must verify total wattage before purchase. The unit offers continuous dimming from 10% to 100% plus four preset levels at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the remote with the dimmer plug and what step causes problems?

Press the pairing button on the dimmer plug then press any remote button within seconds; the common mistake is skipping the plug button and only using the remote which leaves them unpaired.

What part will need replacement first during long-term outdoor use?

The remote control battery will need replacement before the IP65-rated plug shows wear; the plug has no internal battery and uses corded electric power.

What limit appears first when the dimmer runs near 560W for hours?

The overload protection activates first, automatically reducing brightness to protect the circuit when output power exceeds the 560W rating during sustained high-load operation.
