Adaptive Fast Charging 15W

This USB charger delivers 15W Adaptive Fast Charging for compatible Samsung Galaxy phones and other USB Type-C devices. It supplies 9V at 1.67A or 5V at 2A to reach up to 50 percent battery in about 30 minutes. The 6.6ft cable adds freedom of movement while charging at a desk or bedside.

Capacity and headroom

The brick outputs a maximum of 15W, so it comfortably handles fast charging for the listed Galaxy S, Note, A, Z Fold and Z Flip models as well as Google Pixel and LG USB-C phones. It runs out of headroom for devices that demand higher wattage such as laptops or tablets requiring 30W or more.

Build integration

The charger accepts 100-240V AC input, making it suitable for worldwide travel with only a plug adapter. Its single USB-A port feeds the included 6.6ft USB-A to USB-C cable, which supports data transfer up to 480Mbps and is rated for 10,000 bends. The UL-certified housing includes safeguards against over-current, over-voltage, over-heating and over-charging.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 W output at 9 V / 1.67 A charge my older Galaxy S9 as quickly as the original charger?

Yes, the adapter delivers the same 9 V / 1.67 A Adaptive Fast Charging profile the S9 expects, so it reaches about 50 % in 30 minutes.

How can I confirm the charger is operating at the full 15 W after I plug it in?

Watch the phone’s lock-screen indicator — it should show “Fast charging” and the battery should gain roughly 50 % in the first 30 minutes.

Does the box include both the wall adapter and the 6.6 ft USB-A to Type-C cable, or must I buy the cable separately?

The package contains the 15 W wall charger and a 6.6 ft USB-A to Type-C cable rated for 36 W maximum output and 480 Mbps data transfer.
