Starter Kit for Young Learners

This 30-inch acoustic guitar is built for children and beginners taking their first lessons. The compact 19-inch scale length and lightweight linden-wood body make it manageable for smaller hands. A high-gloss light blue finish gives it a polished appearance. It arrives strung with six steel strings and 18 finished frets ready to play.

Bundle Removes Extra Purchases

The package supplies a nylon gig bag, shoulder strap, digital tuner, extra string set, three assorted picks and an instructional sheet. Four months of app-based lessons for iOS or Android add songs, step-by-step guidance and a built-in tuner. Everything needed to start learning is in the box so no separate accessory shopping is required.

19-Inch Scale Fits Small Hands

The 19-inch scale length is the critical measurement that determines whether the instrument suits a child's reach. At 30 inches overall length with a 9.5-inch neck and 13.5-inch body, it is proportioned for young players rather than adults. Buyers needing a full-size instrument should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the steel strings need replacing as my child learns?

The guitar ships with six pre-installed steel strings and includes an extra set of six; new strings stretch for a few weeks and then hold tune better, so plan to swap them when tone dulls or a string breaks.

What part of the 19-inch scale length will limit long practice sessions?

The 19-inch scale and 9.5-inch nut-to-body neck keep fret spacing narrow, so a growing hand will eventually find the 18 finished frets cramped for advanced chords and stretches.

Does the linden wood body get hot or loud when played all day?

Acoustic guitars produce no electronic heat or fan noise; the linden top, back and sides simply resonate, so extended playing only warms the wood slightly from body contact.
