Left-Handed Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar

This Ashthorpe guitar is a full-size 41-inch acoustic-electric instrument built specifically for left-handed players. It suits beginners learning their first chords as well as advanced musicians needing a reliable stage or practice tool. The cutaway dreadnought body allows comfortable access to upper frets while delivering a deep low end and balanced overall tone. It functions acoustically or plugged into an amplifier for versatile performance options.

Spruce Top with X-Bracing and Basswood Body

The soundboard uses A-grade spruce with X-bracing on the underside for structural integrity and resonant projection. Basswood back and sides contribute warmth and tonal response similar to alder. The neck is crafted from marine-grade okoume for strength and balance across the fretboard. Premium diecast chrome tuning pegs hold pitch securely through extended playing sessions.

Ideal for Left-Handed Players Wanting Cutaway Access

This model fits left-handed guitarists who need a full-size dreadnought with a 4.5-inch deep body and single-cutaway design for high-fret reach. The onboard 4-band pickup equalizer with volume control provides bass, mid-range, treble and presence adjustment when amplified. Players seeking a right-handed orientation, a smaller body style, or a purely acoustic instrument without electronics should look at other options.

Questions about this item

How does the 41-inch scale translate to fret spacing and string tension for a left-handed player?

The full-size dreadnought body provides standard string tension and familiar fret spacing, so chord shapes and scale runs feel consistent with other full-size acoustics.

What does the 4-band pickup EQ actually control when the guitar is plugged in?

The integrated preamp has slide controls for bass, mid-range, treble and presence plus a master volume knob, letting you shape the amplified tone directly on the instrument.

Will the 4.5-inch body depth fit in a standard dreadnought case or gig bag?

Yes, the 4.5-inch thick dreadnought body matches traditional dimensions, so it fits standard dreadnought cases and gig bags designed for full-size acoustic guitars.
