What this guitar is and who it suits

The Ashthorpe Full-Size Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a 41-inch instrument finished in sunburst. It is built for beginners and advanced players who want a single guitar that works both unplugged and through an amplifier. The bundle includes two sets of coated strings, one already installed.

Limits of the onboard electronics

The integrated 4-band pickup equaliser provides slide controls for bass, mid-range, treble and presence plus a volume knob. This preamp requires an external amplifier to produce an electric signal; the amplifier is not supplied. Without an amp the guitar functions as a purely acoustic dreadnought.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm that you have access to a compatible acoustic amplifier or PA system if you plan to use the electric mode. The dreadnought body measures 4.5 inches thick, so check that your case, stand or storage space accommodates that depth. Ensure you are comfortable with a full 41-inch scale length.
