Essential Gold Prospecting Tool

The ASR Outdoor 12.5 inch prospecting sand scoop is built for detectorists and gold panners who need a non-metallic recovery tool. Its single-piece plastic construction eliminates false signals and resists rust, making it reliable for repeated field use. The bright black colour helps you spot recovered material against sand and gravel.

Fits Directly Into a Detecting Kit

The scoop requires no additional hardware and slots into any gold panning setup alongside a metal detector and classifier. A lanyard hole allows it to be tethered to a belt or pack, keeping hands free while moving between targets. It also serves as a general garden trowel or pet waste remover when not in the field.

Lightweight Hand Tool for Extended Sessions

At 3.5 ounces the scoop adds minimal fatigue during long days of digging and sifting. The reinforced plastic body withstands abrasive sand, wet soil and chemical exposure without cracking or corroding. No moving parts or power source mean silent operation and zero maintenance in normal use.
