Socket and chipset

The ASRock H170 Pro4S is an ATX motherboard built around the Intel H170 chipset and the LGA 1151 socket. It accepts Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron processors that support Turbo Boost Technology 2.0. The board is not compatible with Intel 8th Gen CPUs. Four 288-pin slots take DDR4 2133 memory in dual-channel mode up to 64 GB.

Expansion and storage layout

Two PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots run at x16 and x4 electrical, while three PCI Express 3.0 x1 slots provide flexible add-in options.
