1U rackmount barebone for edge workloads

This 1U rackmount barebone targets edge-server deployments that need a compact chassis with local storage. It accepts AMD Ryzen 5000, 4000 and 3000 series desktop processors in an AM4 socket. The X570 chipset provides four DDR4 UDIMM slots supporting ECC and non-ECC modules up to 32 GB each. No CPU, memory or storage are installed.

315 W power supply and passive chipset cooling

A 315 W internal supply operates on 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. The X570 chipset is cooled without a dedicated fan, relying on system airflow. Two fixed 3.5 inch SATA drive bays sit behind the front panel, with an option for one 3.5 inch and one 2.5 inch bay. An Aspeed AST2500 provides basic video output and dedicated IPMI management.

Dual M.2 slots and FHHL PCIe 4.0 x16 expansion

Two M-key M.2 slots accept 22110, 2280, 2260 or 2242 form factors, each wired for PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA 6 Gb/s from the CPU. A single full-height half-length PCIe 4.0 x16 slot is available through the RB1UX16_G4 riser. Front I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports; rear I/O adds two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, dual Intel I210 1 Gigabit RJ45 ports, a VGA connector and the IPMI port. Builders needing more than two internal drive bays or a second full-length GPU should consider a larger chassis.
