The ASRock Rack 1U4LW-B650/2L2T is a 1U rackmount barebone designed for general-purpose workloads. It targets system integrators and IT teams building compact storage or compute nodes. The chassis includes a single-socket AM5 platform and an 80 PLUS Gold 400W power supply. No processor, memory or drives are installed.

Socket AM5 with B650 chipset

The board uses the AMD B650 chipset and a single Socket AM5 (LGA 1718) that accepts AMD EPYC 4004 and Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs. Four DDR5 288-pin DIMM slots support ECC and non-ECC UDIMMs up to 48 GB per module. Memory runs at 5200 MHz with one DIMM per channel or 3600 MHz with two DIMMs per channel.

Sustained operation in a 1U enclosure

Four hot-swap 3.5-inch SATA bays provide high-density storage without exceeding the 1U height. Dual 10 GbE ports from the Broadcom BCM57416 and dual 1 GbE ports from the Intel i210 handle continuous network throughput. A full-height PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and an M.2 slot with PCIe 5.0 x4 allow expansion cards and fast boot devices to run within the 400W power budget.
