ATX server board with eight DDR4 3200 slots, seven PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, ten SATA 6.0Gb/s ports and dual 10GbE via Broadcom BCM57416
Model ROMED8-2T/BCM
The ASRock Rack ROMED8-2T/BCM is a new ATX server motherboard built around the SP3 socket (LGA 4094) for AMD EPYC 7002 and 7003 series processors, with a BIOS update required for 7003 parts featuring 3D V-Cache technology. Eight DDR4 288-pin slots operate in an eight-channel configuration at 3200 MT/s with ECC support. It provides seven PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, two OCuLink connectors, two M.2 sockets, ten SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports and dual 10 GbE RJ45 ports driven by a Broadcom BCM57416 controller.
This board suits integrators assembling single-socket EPYC servers that require high core counts, eight-channel DDR4 bandwidth and integrated 10 GbE networking without an add-in card. It is not for deployments that need dual-socket scaling, more than eight memory channels, or onboard 25 GbE or faster networking. Workloads requiring GPU-heavy expansion beyond the seven x16 slots or a different memory generation should evaluate alternative platforms.
The defining specification is the eight-channel DDR4 3200 implementation with ECC across eight 288-pin slots, which sets the memory bandwidth and capacity ceiling for the platform. If the target workload fits within a single SP3 processor and eight channels of registered or load-reduced DDR4, this motherboard delivers the I/O and expansion layout to match. If the application demands more memory channels, a different socket or a dual-socket design is required.

Yes, the board has eight 288-pin DDR4 slots running at 3200 MT/s with ECC support, so your current registered ECC modules will install and run in eight-channel mode.
Check the OS network adapter settings or the switch port LEDs; both RJ45 ports should report a 10 Gbps link when connected to a 10GbE switch with suitable cabling.
The motherboard ships with an ATX I/O shield and standard mounting screws, so no extra hardware is needed for a typical chassis installation.
