Quad-channel DDR5 with four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots

Eight 288-pin slots accept DDR5 ECC RDIMMs up to 2 TB in quad-channel mode, with native speeds of 4800 MHz on W9, W7 and W5 CPUs. Four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (two at x16, two at x8) plus one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot at x4 give room for multiple GPUs, accelerators or NVMe add-in cards. A U.2 connector and four M.2 sockets (all PCIe Gen5 x4) plus eight SATA3 ports provide dense storage expansion without using expansion slots.

The 20+2 power phase design with 90A SPS components and a 14-layer ultra low-loss PCB delivers stable current to high-wattage Xeon CPUs during sustained all-core loads. Dual Marvell AQC113CS 10 GbE ports and an Intel i225LM 2.5 GbE port maintain network throughput for long rendering or simulation jobs. Two USB4 Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports and one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C header keep high-speed peripheral bandwidth available throughout extended sessions.
