Supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs with DDR5 up to 10400 MT/s, dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, six M.2 sockets including two Gen5, 40 Gbps USB4 and Wi-Fi 7
The ASRock X870E Taichi OCF is an AM5 ATX motherboard built for Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It uses a 1 DIMM per channel layout with two 288-pin slots supporting up to 128 GB of dual-channel DDR5. Enthusiasts gain a clean signal path for extreme memory overclocking via AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles.
The Dr.MOS design with Smart Power Stage technology monitors current and temperature on each phase, delivering smoother power to the CPU during extended workloads. This improves stability when the system runs at high frequency for long periods rather than short bursts. OC buttons provide hardware-level control for extreme overclocking sessions.
Six M.2 slots include two CPU-attached Gen5 x4 sockets for 2280 NVMe drives, adding high-speed storage capacity missing on mainstream boards. USB4 brings 40 Gbps Type-C connectivity and Wi-Fi 7 adds multi-link operation for lower latency. The board replaces lesser chipsets when maximum I/O throughput and memory overclocking headroom are required.

The Dr.MOS design uses Smart Power Stage technology to monitor current and temperature per phase, delivering smoother power to the CPU with enhanced overclocking headroom.
You need un-buffered, non-ECC DDR5 modules; the board supports AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles up to 10400+(OC) with Ryzen 8000 series CPUs.
The chipset provides M.2 sockets running at PCIe 4.0 x4, so current NVMe SSDs operate at their rated throughput.
