Socket AM5 ATX board with DDR5 up to 8600 MT/s, four M.2 slots, dual USB4, Wi-Fi 7 and 5 GbE LAN
Model X870E AORUS MASTER
The Gigabyte X870E Aorus Master is an ATX motherboard built for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. It delivers a 16+2+2 phase power design rated at 110A per stage and supports up to 256GB of DDR5 memory across four slots. The board targets enthusiasts who need maximum connectivity and strong overclocking headroom.
This board suits builders who want dual USB4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, 5GbE LAN and four M.2 sockets with PCIe 5.0 support on three of them. Users planning a compact ITX system or a budget-oriented build should look at smaller or less feature-dense alternatives. The extensive thermal armour and EZ-Latch mechanisms also benefit frequent hardware swaps.
The memory controller validates DDR5 speeds up to 8600MT/s when using EXPO profiles, making this the key figure for buyers chasing peak memory bandwidth. If your workload does not scale beyond 5200MT/s JEDEC, a lower-tier chipset may offer better value.

The AM5 socket retains the same mounting-hole spacing as AM4, so any cooler certified for AM4 or AM5 will bolt directly to the back-plate without an adapter kit.
They forget to flip the EZ-Latch Plus release lever back down after the card clicks in, leaving the retention arm unlatched and the card loosely held.
Check the thermal pads once a year; if they look compressed, dried out or torn, peel them off and apply fresh pads of the same thickness before reinstalling the heatsink.
