TN635 Black Toner Two-Pack

This two-pack of new compatible black toner cartridges replaces Brother TN635 units and suits the listed HL and MFC colour laser printers. Each cartridge is rated for approximately 3000 pages of laser output. The built-in chip supports straightforward recognition and installation in the supported models.

Laser Printing Thermals and Power

Laser printing uses heat to fuse toner, so the printer manages its own thermal and power profile during normal operation. The cartridges themselves add no moving parts or fans and therefore do not alter the device's noise level or power draw beyond standard printing cycles.

Bundled Chip and Yield

The integrated chip on each cartridge enables reliable printer recognition and helps track the 3000-page yield for black output. No additional software, tools or colour cartridges are included in this pack, so colour printing requires separate purchases.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TN635 black cartridge in my HL-L8430CDW and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, pull out the old black cartridge, shake the new TN635 gently side-to-side, remove the protective cover, slide it in until it clicks, then close the cover. The step often missed is shaking the cartridge before installation to distribute toner evenly.

What part will need replacement after I print roughly 3000 pages with this TN635 black cartridge?

The TN635 black toner cartridge itself will need replacement once the approximate 3000-page yield is reached. The built-in chip will signal low toner and the printer will stop printing until a new cartridge is installed.

What limit appears first during a long continuous print run with the TN635 black cartridge?

The 3000-page yield rating is the first limit; after that volume the toner is depleted and print density drops. The cartridge must then be replaced before printing can continue.
