What this product is

This is a twin pack of black toner cartridges built to replace the Brother TN635XL. Each unit is rated for approximately 5500 pages and uses laser print technology. The set targets offices or home users who run one of the listed Brother colour printers and want a ready spare on hand.

Check your printer model

Verify that your machine appears in the compatible list: HL-L8430CDW, HL-L8430CDWT, HL-L8570CDW, MFC-L8730CDW, L8930CDW, L8970CDW or EX575. The cartridges carry a built-in chip for recognition, so no firmware workaround is needed. Colour printing requires separate cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges rated at 4500 pages each.

Thermals noise and power

Toner cartridges are passive components; they add no fan noise, draw no power and generate no measurable heat during printing. Normal operation stays within the printer’s own thermal and acoustic envelope. Store unused cartridges in a cool, dry place to preserve shelf life.

Questions about this item

Does the pack contain two black cartridges or a mix of colours, and is anything else needed to start printing?

The box holds two black TN635XL cartridges with built-in chips; no additional parts are required for installation.

Should I choose this 5500-page black twin pack or the colour cartridges rated at 4500 pages?

Select the black twin pack for mono-heavy workloads; choose the colour set when you regularly print full-colour documents.

What does the 5500-page figure mean when the cartridge is used in a Brother HL-L8430CDW?

It is the ISO-rated yield at five percent coverage, so actual page count will vary with document density and printer settings.
