Compact macro keypad for rhythm gamers

The Astro Gaming O3C OSU SayoDevice is a mini 2-in-1 accessory built around three Hall-effect magnetic linear switches, a rotary knob and a built-in display. It connects via USB Type-C using a USB 2.0 interface and polls at 8000 Hz for low-latency input. The unit arrives new and is aimed at players who want dedicated controls for osu! and similar rhythm titles.

Hall-effect switches with hot-swap calibration

Each of the three keys uses a magnetic linear switch that can be replaced with any compatible Hall switch, and a single click runs the calibration routine required on first use or after a firmware update. This mechanism removes physical contact wear and lets the actuation point be tuned in software for consistent rapid triggering.

Suits osu! enthusiasts wanting a tiny dedicated

The three-key layout, programmable knob and 0.96 inch 160 by 80 IPS colour screen cover the core needs of rhythm-game players who prefer a separate macro pad. Buyers who need a full alphanumeric keyboard, more than three programmable keys or wireless connectivity should look at a different form factor.

Questions about this item

What does the 8000 Hz polling rate do in a real match?

It sends key state updates 8000 times every second, so the game sees each press with almost no delay.

What does the USB 2.0 Type-C link limit in practice?

The connection uses USB 2.0 Type-C, keeping the 8000 Hz polling rate while capping total bandwidth to the USB 2.0 specification.

How much desk space does the 0.96 inch screen and three-switch layout need?

The 0.96 inch IPS screen at 160 by 80 resolution sits above three Hall magnetic linear switches and a knob in a compact mini keypad footprint.
