ASUS VivoBook Go 15 laptop

The ASUS VivoBook Go 15 is a 15.6 inch Full HD laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U 8-core processor reaching 4.3GHz. It ships with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. The silver chassis includes a 180-degree lay-flat hinge and a physical webcam privacy shutter for everyday work and study.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 8-core Ryzen 5 7520U operates between a 2.8GHz base and a 4.3GHz turbo frequency with 2MB L2 and 4MB L3 cache. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics share system memory for video playback and light creative tasks. Under continuous load the processor manages thermal output within the slim chassis without a discrete GPU.

Interface and storage limits

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Ryzen 5 7520U get during long work sessions?

The 8-core processor runs at a 2.8 GHz base clock and can boost to 4.3 GHz, so sustained loads will raise fan speed and surface temperature; the integrated Radeon graphics share the same thermal envelope.

Which cables or peripherals are required to start using the laptop?

The box includes the power adapter for the internal battery; the 15.6-inch FHD panel, webcam privacy shutter, 8 GB DDR4 memory and 512 GB NVMe storage are already built in, so no extra parts are needed for basic operation.

Can I connect an older monitor through the video output?

Yes, the HDMI port supports external displays up to 1920 x 1080 resolution, matching the built-in screen's native 1080p output.
