Compact Gaming Desktop

The ASUS ROG NUC 16 packs an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU into a 3-litre chassis. It targets gamers and creators who need high frame rates and AI-accelerated workflows without a full-size tower. Tool-free thumb screws give quick access to memory and storage slots for future upgrades.

Sustained Load Cooling

Three fans and a dual vapor chamber cover 72 percent of the thermal area to keep temperatures stable during extended sessions. A dedicated SSD heatsink prevents storage throttling while the system runs demanding titles or render jobs. Acoustic output stays below 4.5 BA so background noise remains low even when the hardware is pushed continuously.

Interface Practical Limits

Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4 provide the high-speed external connectivity for peripherals and networking. The compact form factor limits internal expansion to the accessible memory and storage bays; builders who need additional discrete cards or extensive drive arrays will require a larger platform.
