4U rackmount barebone for dual AMD EPYC 9004 CPUs, 24 DDR5 DIMM slots, eight dual-slot GPUs and 2600 W redundant power
The ASUS ESC8000A-E12-26W10G is a 4U rackmount barebone designed for AI, machine learning and HPC workloads. It accommodates two AMD EPYC 9004 series processors with up to 400W TDP each and supports eight dual-slot GPU cards. The platform targets organisations that need dense GPU compute in a single chassis.
No processors, memory or storage are installed, so you must source compatible AMD EPYC 9004 CPUs, DDR5 4800/4400 RDIMM or 3DS RDIMM modules and drives. The board provides 24 DIMM slots across twelve channels per socket and one M.2 22110 slot with a PCIe Gen3 x4 link. Ensure your GPU selection fits the eight full-height, full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and that auxiliary power connectors reach the cards.
Independent airflow tunnels separate CPU and GPU thermals for optimised cooling under sustained loads. The chassis includes a 2+2 redundant 2600W Platinum power supply arrangement, with support for up to four 3000W Titanium units. Eight hot-swap 3.5 or 2.5-inch bays support Tri-Mode NVMe, SATA and SAS drives for flexible storage configurations.

The chassis ships with no CPU installed, no memory installed and no storage installed; you must add up to two EPYC 9004 processors, up to 24 DDR5 RDIMM or 3DS RDIMM modules and up to eight 3.5 or 2.5 hot-swap drives yourself.
The 24 DIMM slots accept DDR5 4800 or 4400 RDIMM and 3DS RDIMM modules across 12 channels per socket, scaling to 3 TB per CPU.
Eight full-length Gen5 x16 slots are wired for dual-slot GPUs; the remaining three Gen5 slots (one x8 front, two rear x16 and x8) serve HBA, RAID or NIC cards without reducing GPU bandwidth.
